PowerPoint
At First I was doing fine on my PowerPoint and I did all my slides but when I was doing it I was not putting in into any particularly order. Then when I was done I was trying to move the slides around but it will not let me but I know there is a way because I did it before but i do not remember because I have not done an PowerPoint in a while. So when i click on outline, a box popped up saying stopping so I did not think anything of it and when the box went away my whole PowerPoint closed out, boy was I mad, and I was basically done, all I had to do is put the PowerPoint's in the right order. I was starting to feel like not doing it but I did it anyway because I really do not need to be getting any zeros in this class or any other class.

Did you not save your PowerPoint yet and lost it? What version of PowerPoint are you using? You can access the Slide Sorter view by clicking on the word View in the Menu bar and choosing the option Slide Sorter. There's also a small icon in the bottom right corner in 2007.
ReplyDeleteThe Slide Sorter view displays all of your slides in miniature. This view is optimal for moving and copying slides, especially from one presentation to another. Slide repositioning is accomplished by selecting and dragging or copying and pasting.
That powerpoint can be a tough one. I'm still trying get this lingo down. When all you guys talk or I read blogs and discussion boards I have to translate the verbage. But no problem, I'm catching on. I still stare into the computer lost most times but you can bet that I'm looking. I'm getting frustrated because I know some of what is being taught I just cant get the most simple functions down. Goodluck on your powerpoint and I will blog you later.
ReplyDeletePowerPoint is probably one of my favorite tools to use. Once you get it down, it is pretty easy. Somethings can be frustrating at times, especially when it doesn't work like you want it to. i really like that you can ad animation, videos and pictures. You can't do these things with word. I have found that powerpoint is easier to use when I have projects, such as creating a webbing for a thematic unit.
ReplyDeleteThat power point can be a headache. I can manuver around fairly decent but not enough to give advice. I actually enjoyed finding out what each button do on Power Point.
ReplyDeletePower Point gets easier every time after each use. I learn a new button almost every time I use the program. I soaked in information as I go along and try to remember it as I use the software.
ReplyDeletePower point has so many buttons. I added more buttons that do amazing things. I hope I can remember them all. It is cool when you incorporate all the actions that create a slide presentation. I made a slide show with picture that my daughter took just to get familiar with the program.
