Setting up delicious was not as hard as i thought it would be. I had to figure out how to bookmark things, but once i learned how to do that i started to bookmark this that relate to early childhood. At first i was putting the url in the wrong place so it was showing that the url was invalid. I think Delicious is a good tool, instead of putting all the website in favorites and maybe slowing up my laptop i can put it on delicious and it will not effect my laptop at all. I will be using Delicious alot because i use to put everything in favorites.

ReplyDeleteIt was not hard to set it up but learning how to tag was my problem.I did't know if you had to go to google but you just type in what you want right there and it brings it up.I was storing everything up under favorites also now we can just bookmark it and keep going.
I hear you on that. I was frustrated before but yeah now that I have it I've been bookmarking on my regular pages, Yahoo, google, facebook etc. its been fun...
ReplyDeleteI hit some bumps as well, installing and creating. but it all worked out. I'm still at AWH, for all the things that we are learning.
ReplyDeleteLaChandra, you are not alone, I put all of stuff in favorites as well, now I can put them in Delicious. You learn new things everyday. At first I was having a problem with my bookmarking then I caught my mistake, and from there everything was fine!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you guys are catching on. I'm getting there myself I just have to stay on it everyday. I'm figuring these things out but I have to get my laptop settings in order. The simplest things can prevent you from completeing or doing a good job. I want to do well in this class so I'm hanging in there. There are a lot of paths to follow in this class.

ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you are getting all this technology smarts lol. I have to say that it took me a while to understand how to get all the components together. I have not book marked because I still have not figured out everything yet.

Congratulations on hanging in there and not quitting. It is certainly not as easy as it seems to some. However, staying positive and not quitting is the key. I hope we all make it out and can equally breathe that sigh of relief together. I spent so much time on this that I neglected one of my classes and I pray I can go catch up on it. The week ends in that class on Tues instead of Wednesday.
